Crafting With Elastic

My pretty elastic order came in today and I was inspired to make some pretty things for the girls.

I made some headbands and here are my lovely models.  Just ignore the messy background.

It’s quite simple to make.  All I did was measure their head and cut 19″ of the elastic.  I used E6000 glue to glue the ends together and when it’s dried, it is ready to be worn.

I also made some elastic rings.  I cut 1 3/4″ of elastic and glue the ends together.  Then I glue a flower on top of the ring.

The girls love it and they look forward to give some of these rings to their friends.

Does the elastic slide off their heads? I need to find a way to keep Lydia’s hearing aid band on but it keeps sliding off the back and off b/c of her slick hair.
