Once again Pastor John proved himself to be a master expositor, and this evening he wore a biblical-theological hat in explaining the kurios and duolos relationship. He did a superb job indeed.

I’m walking away from this message with two realities: 1) we’re missing this “slave-talk” reality in our evangelical understanding and 2) that the fundamental duty of a slave is obedience and submission.

Evers, thank you again for your laborious posts. May the Lord bless your hands and fingers! You’ve truly served me and many others who couldn’t be there physically. I think I’m going to use your posts for further reflections and future sermon preparations. A big thanks again to you brother.
