You know, when you blog, you're putting words out there in cyberspace for the WORLD to see. I think it's good to use a lot of discretion. You'd rather be considered too serious than cause doubts about your character. So I think we can't totally judge a person's fun factor by his/her blog. There are many things I would say that I'd never write on my blog!!

BTW...I'm planning on making those funnel cakes one day!

I too am glad to know that you guys are goofy too!!

BTW Lois, a while back you posted about really cute dresses you had made the girls. I never did write down the pattern so I was wondering if you could give me the link for that post. They had angel wing sleeves and tie backs. They were just precious.

I'm glad to hear that you guys are a little goofy!

I tend to learn about people by the books they are reading -- GREAT books in your sidebar, in my humble opinion.

What I particularly appreciate about your blog is that it reflects a serious effort to glorify God as you raise your children...simply living your lives to His glory.

I had never thought about "blog personality"! What a great topic. It's making me think about what my blog must say about me. Surely my written words are more carefully chosen and conveyed than the nonsense that my favorite coffee shop usually gets as I'm begging them for my morning latte. It's interesting to think that through blogging we can choose to highlight certain aspects of ourselves and cleverly hide others. When I first started blogging in it's official sense, I wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting the reader's time. I hoped that my blog would glorify God but also show how He is working in our lives. I have always enjoyed your "serious" posts but can't wait for the day we can get the families together and pretend to be youth pastors! We'll be in town in March to see Steve's folks! Maybe we can get together for coffee and discuss the major points of Calvinism...hmm, or not. ;-)
