We purchased the Ergo Baby Carrier about eight months ago specifically for our adopted daughter Emmaline so promote proper attachment to us. She immediately took to it and saw it as her carrier. We were also able to use the carrier even when she was in her hip spica cast and now in a soft brace. Even though this carrier costs $92, I believe it’s worth it. I was even able to carry my 2 1/2 year old boy in the Ergo for an extended time without hurting my back. I also use the same carrier for my 6 month old when we’re out. It’s usually hard for my baby to sleep while we’re out, but when I have her in the carrier (front carry) with the sleep hood attached, she can sleep without any problems. We did not purchase the separate infant insert because we use a sling for that purpose.

Thus, the Ergo carrier is our latest successful venture in child-care gadgetry. We are indeed very happy with this purchase!
